TA-212-922-5728-01 A sprawling wonderland on 22 splendid acres of Waikiki Beach, Hilton Hawaiian Village goes all out to wow our guests, with tropical gardens, a lagoon, an aquatic paradise of pools and waterslides, fireworks and a whole lot more. Set on Waikiki's widest stretch of sand, Duke Kahanamoku Beach, the Hilton has five towers of rooms surrounded by a secluded five-acre lagoon, lush tropical gardens with exotic birds and a mammoth water complex with five pools. The 2,860 spacious rooms include flat-panel TVs with premium cable, and some rooms have terrific ocean and Diamond Head views. Wi-Fi access and rollaway beds are both available for a fee. The kids will love zipping down the waterslide (billed as Waikiki's longest) in the huge freshwater Paradise Pool or enjoying the fine children's program offerings. Maybe you'd fancy a surfing lesson, stand-up paddling, an Atlantis Submarine adventure or a catamaran sail. The pink flamingos, starlight luau (fee applies), and Friday music and dance extravaganza with fireworks are all big crowd-pleasers. This mega-resort village also has a Hawaiian art collection, a luxury spa, a wedding chapel, over 15 restaurants and bars and over 90 fine boutiques and shops. Parking is available for a fee. The hotel is set right on the Pacific Ocean on Duke Kahanamoku Beach to the west of Fort DeRussy Beach. If you're flying in and out of Honolulu International Airport, the hotel is eight miles southeast. Hilton Hawaiian Village leaves nothing out in its quest to please our guests, who say "the resort is beautiful," "it feels like a private oasis" — it's "sheer perfection."
